| Lamb or Lam? The Debate Continues... |
|
So, we are still trying to determine which one of us misspelled "On the Lam" as "On the Lamb" on our last facebook announcement. (oops!) So far, no one's 'fessing up but hey, it's an easy mistake to make and I think we got the message across. So the countdown continues to tomorrow night with Greensky Bluegrass at Cervante's Other Side! We had an absolute blast up at KGNU on Saturday with Guy Errickson playing the naked stage during Jam Sandwich, and we give sincere thanks to all of you who took the time to listen. Thank you for the flood of kudos! Guy was just great to work with; we've decided he needs a cape fluttering out behind him as he dashes from room to room in a multi-tasking frenzy. It's an amazing thing to behold! We'll have the recording of that show posted soon, and for the next couple of weeks, you can go to http://kgnu.org/ht/listings.html?show=JamSandwich , click April 17th on the calendar, then click the little speaker to listen to the entire show, which includes interviews with John Mclaughlin of Mahavishnu Orchestra & Beltania. So, as these things go, we are waiting oh-so-impatiently for delivery of our CDs and hope they will arrive in time for our show with the great band Greensky Bluegrass tomorrow night at Cervante's Other Side. If not, you can still order one in person at our gigs or online here, and we'll ship it to you post-haste. This is an exciting month for a lot of musicians we know: Chris McGarry is releasing his debut album, our good buds The Mile Markers are releasing their album this month, too (way to go, girls!), and Greensky Bluegrass has a live album available now. Chris McGarry and The Mile Markers will be playing with us on May 13th at The Meadowlark, along with Ryan Brasher of the group Eleanor. It's gonna be a wonderful evening of friends, family, music, bbq, and libation. Tickets are $6 and it starts at 8pm sharp! Please come. It wouldn't be the same without you! Love, The Gals |
